What happened to your donations in 2025?
The Lenten contributions is managed by CaritasMJD on behalf of the diocese.
The funds have been instrumental in reaching out to and supporting families and individuals in distress situation. This includes service to the marginalised, migrants, refugees and other priority groups identified by the Diocese such as Creation Justice & Aru Bumi ministries.
Together, we can make a lasting impact and create positive change for people in need.
Your generosity fuels the Church's mission to prioritise the well-being of the poor and powerless.
If you plan fund raising as one of you activities, do keep the following guide in mind.
Lent fundraising must first cost something personally
(time, comfort, convenience, pride, habits) before it collects money.
If there is no sacrifice, it is charity-season shopping, not almsgiving.
So every activity below links:
Sacrifice → Awareness → Almsgiving
